Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Introduction

This policy explains what the Scaled Creator Chrome extension ("the extension") reads, stores and sends, and why. It adds to the ScaledCreator Privacy Policy, which covers your Scaled Creator account in general.

Information the extension reads

The extension works only in your own browser, using the Amazon Associates and Scaled Creator sessions you are already signed in to. It reads:

• From your Scaled Creator account: the Amazon products (ASINs) linked in your videos, and your account name to show which account is connected.
• From Amazon Creator Connections: the campaigns for those products, including the brand, campaign name, commission rate, budget, dates, image and status, and for campaigns you have accepted, their clicks and earnings.
• From your Amazon Associates earnings report: your earnings (commissions, bounties and Creator Connections earnings), clicks and ordered items by day or month, and the same figures for your top products.

Information the extension never collects

• Your Amazon or Scaled Creator password, or your Amazon cookies.
• Sales or revenue amounts (what buyers paid). Only your own earnings are read.
• Payment details, your browsing history, or anything on websites other than Amazon Associates and Scaled Creator.

How the information is used

The information is used only to provide the extension's features:

• To find campaigns for your products and accept the ones you choose, or all open ones if you turn on automatic accepting.
• To show your campaigns and earnings in the extension and on the Commission Boosts and Amazon Earnings pages of your Scaled Creator dashboard.
• To report why a run failed, so we can fix problems you send us.

Where the information goes

Campaign and earnings information is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection only to your own Scaled Creator account. Settings and the results of recent runs are also kept in the extension's storage on your computer.

• We do not sell this information or share it with third parties.
• We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to decide credit or lending.
• People at ScaledCreator see it only when needed to provide support, keep the service secure, or meet a legal obligation.
• The extension does not load or run code from outside its own package.

Actions the extension takes for you

On Amazon Creator Connections the extension only searches for your products and clicks Accept on campaigns. It clicks Accept only on campaigns you ticked, or on open campaigns when you have turned automatic accepting on. It never clicks any other button that changes your Amazon account.

Keeping and deleting your information

• Campaign and earnings information is kept in your Scaled Creator account for as long as the account exists. A new read replaces older figures for the same period.
• Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored on your computer.
• You can delete your Scaled Creator account and its data at any time from https://www.scaledcreator.com/delete-account, or ask us to delete only the Amazon information by emailing us.

The use of information received by the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If the extension starts reading or sharing information in a new way, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
